Open Call Proposal for “hush! x Creative Industries” from today
Organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), “HUSH!! Full Music” Beach Concert will be held from 28 April to 1 May 2019. “HUSH!! Full Music”, known for its distinctive brand image, has a history of over 10 years and is an important annual event dedicated to pop music in Macao. The Organizer has successfully registered the “hush!” trademark last year. In order to consolidate the “hush!” music brand and actively promote the development of the local cultural and creative industries, IC launches an open call for proposals for “hush! x Creative Industries”. The application deadline is 11 January 2019. Interested cultural and creative entities are welcome to submit their proposals.
The open call proposals for “hush! x Creative Industries” aim to open its trademark to local individuals or companies of the creative and cultural industries. These individuals or companies can design and produce diverse creative products, with no limitation to product types. By establishing an interactive platform for both sides, the Bureau hopes to promote the “hush!” brand and the development of the local cultural and creative industries.
The Organizer will select and review the applications based on three criteria: creative design concept, product uniqueness, sales and promotional plan. The selected cultural and creative entities will be authorised to use the “hush!” trademark in goods production and sales on a self-financing basis. In addition, they will be invited to join the “HUSH!! Full Music” Beach Concert as “Creative Partner” and sell their products at the sales booths of the concert in 2019, thereby increasing the cultural and creative entities’ exposure to the public, enhancing the atmosphere of the concert, and creating a synergistic effect for both the concert and local creative and cultural entities.
Interested cultural and creative entities should submit their proposals and all relevant information from today until 11 January 2019 during office hours to the Division of Recreational Activities of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, located at Room A, 11/F, Nam Tung Commercial Building, No. 517, Avenida da Praia Grande, indicating the following on the envelope: “hush! x Creative Industries”.
