| Goal | To assist participants to be familiarised with the basic teaching methods and strategies of school education, understand the design and development process of multimedia computer-assisted teaching courseware, the development and management of computer teaching platform, computer classroom management skills and regulations, as well as the curriculum design suitable for the characteristics of different subjects. |
| Message | 1. The Mode of Integrating Information Technology into Teaching and Its Application (15 hours): Participants are enabled to understand the teaching mode of integrating Information Technology into teaching and acquire the different teaching methods for specific application of information technology in teaching. In addition, through the introduction of appropriate curriculum design for integrating information technology into the teaching of several major subjects, including Science, Mathematics and Language, as well as through the sharing of practical experience by school representatives, participants can understand the difficulties encountered by peers and the possible solutions. 2. Teaching Platform Design, Teaching Courseware and Management (15 hours): Participants will be taught to develop appropriate teaching platform according to the demands of different subjects, including the consideration of human-machine interface, the mechanism of uploading and converting the files of teachers’ presentation slides or other electronic teaching materials, the maintenance of intellectual property rights for teaching materials, the management platform for students’ assignments, the design of discussion forum and student question forum, as well as the presentation of multimedia teaching materials. Participants are assisted to be familiarised with the development theory and process of courseware, as well as acquire the related evaluation methods. |
