The Civil Aviation Authority launches eight new promotional videos to educate the Macao residents and the passengers with the knowledge of the aviation laws and regulations as well as the operations of the industry.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Macao SAR (AACM) launched a series of new promotional videos with the aim of educating the Macao residents and the passengers with the knowledge of the aviation laws and regulations as well as removing their misunderstanding on the operations of the industry. The new videos are already broadcasted on AACM’s official electronic platforms and will also be put on the electronic screens in the airport passenger terminal and on the aircraft.
AACM took into consideration the complaints and the enquiries commonly filed in by the Macao residents and the passengers as well as the unruly passenger cases and has then defined the areas which require promotion in order that the public will be educated with the necessary knowledge that they should acquire for safe travelling and that the public will clear the misunderstanding that they previously had on certain industry operations. AACM has worked on the production of the videos since the end of last year and eventually concluded the task in this February.
The production accounted for eight new videos with the following themes:
- “No smoking on aircraft”, which talks about the main responsibilities of the cabin crew.
- “Ensuring safe travel”, which relates the prohibition of smoking and transporting lighters on aircraft.
- “Treat each other with courtesy”, which tells the prohibition of a selfie stick over 30cm after retraction in carry-on baggage.
- “Do not release untrue information”, which urges a passenger not to release untrue information.
- “Go into the restricted area in an orderly manner”, which conveys the message that a passenger should not go into the airport restricted area without authorization.
- “Comply with the laws and regulations when we travel”, which urges a passenger to comply with the laws and regulations as well as the instructions of the cabin crew when traveling.
- “Keep an eye on your property”, which says a passenger should take good care of his/her property on aircraft.
- “Safeguarding our travel with professionalism”, which relates that the airline and the airport personnel work at their best to safeguard our travel.
The new videos are already broadcasted on the AACM website (https://www.aacm.gov.mo/ , “TV Programme” under “Latest News”) and the AACM Youtube Channel (“Macao CAA”). To extend the coverage of the videos, AACM will also cooperate with the airport and Air Macau to broadcast the videos on the electronic screens in the passenger terminal and on the aircraft.
