Assistant Commissioner Vong Vai Hong of Public Security Police Force (PSP) assumed office as Deputy Commissioner on 8 April. The inauguration ceremony, which was held at the PSP Headquarters in the morning, was officiated by Commissioner Leong Man Cheong and witnessed by the Directorate and heads of various departments.
Deputy Commissioner Vong Vai Hong joined the PSP in 1988. After completing the 1st Senior Police Officer Training Programme organized by the Academy of Public Security Forces in 1994, he served as division head of the Tactical Police Unit, the Traffic Department, the Macao Police Department and the Resource Management Department, and held the post of Head of Traffic Department and later became Head of Operations Department. Mr Vong has served as Acting Deputy Commissioner of PSP since 15 January this year.
With his extensive policing experience and professional knowledge, Deputy Commissioner Vong Vai Hong has served the Force conscientiously over the years. He has been promoted and awarded commendations repeatedly for his outstanding work performance and excellent leadership.
