30th Macao Arts Festival adds performance of the local show Wonder.Land Tickets on sale from 13 April

The 30th Macao Arts Festival (MAF), organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), will be held from 3 May to 2 June. A number of programmes have been highly sought after since the first day of ticket sales, and therefore the organizer had organised an additional performance of the local show Wonder.Land, to be held on 4 May, at 3pm. Tickets will be on sale from 10am on 13 April at the Macau Ticketing Network outlets, and they may also be purchased on the internet or by phone.

The performance Wonder.Land, by Ieng Chi Dance Association and Concept Pulse Studio relieves the audience’s body and mind, and will dazzle them with its flow of light, shadow and sound. Tickets are limited and the public is advised to purchase tickets as soon as possible. This edition of MAF includes several dance shows, including the opening performance Vertikal by CCN Créteil & Val-de-Marne / Cie Käfig; Rain by Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and her dance company Rosas, in collaboration with contemporary musician Steve Reich; Motion, created by renowned choreographer Brahim Bouchelaghem. In addition, local works such as Saving Troubled Daddy by the Dóci Papiaçám di Macau Drama Group; the concerts An Alpine Symphony by the Macao Orchestra and the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, and Chinese Musical Painting by the Macao Chinese Orchestra, are also not to be missed.
