MGTO and Health Bureau inspect bars and other related establishments for preventive measures against infections

In accordance with the Chief Executive’s Order No. 50/2020, the special measures imposed by Clause 2 of Article 1 of the Chief Executive’s Order No. 27/2020 will be lifted, effective from 0:00, 2 March 2020. Related establishments including bars, health clubs, night clubs, karaoke lounges and more will be reopened. To safeguard public health, officials of Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and Health Bureau jointly visited related establishments today (29 February) for an inspection of their preventive measures against infections.

MGTO has sent the guidelines on work resumption to related establishments. Businesses can also read the guidelines on the online platforms of MGTO and Health Bureau. After these establishments resume operation, MGTO will follow up by carrying out more scrupulous inspections.
