| Goal | To help participants familiarise with the basic teaching methods and strategies for school education, understand the design and development process of multimedia computer-assisted instruction courseware, the development and management of computer teaching platform, computer classroom management skills and regulations, as well as the curriculum design suitable for the characteristics of different subjects. |
| Message | 1. Integration of Information Technology into Teaching - Mode and Application (15 hours) 2. Teaching Platform Design, Teaching Courseware and Management (15 hours) 3. Digitisation of classrooms in secondary and primary schools in Macao is becoming more popular, which has posed a great challenge to classroom teachers and schools. How to build an effective and lively smart classroom is an urgent issue that should be considered by each educator. Besides, it is also important to integrate new technology into STEM education in a more effective manner so as to expand the application of new educational technology in the teaching of primary and secondary Mathematics, so that the Information Technology Education staff of schools can apply new technology in this area as well as make reflection and innovation on it, thus enhancing the effectiveness of information technology in STEM education in secondary and primary schools. Hence, in this module, two new courses are included, namely, “Smart Classroom Software and Hardware and the Application Methods”, “Integration of Information Technology into STEM Education”. |
