2020-2021 Season Closing Concert "Inheritance, Development" – 100 Years of Chinese Music

To commemorate the centennial history of Chinese music, the Orchestra commissioned the famous composer Li Bochan to create a national orchestral piece with the background of Macao's inclusive cultures, depicting Macao's humanistic spirit through the flowing music, and which will be performed under the baton of the Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Macao Chinese Orchestra, Liu Sha. The concert also features a famous Hu performer who enjoys the reputation of "A beauty that can play five kinds of Hu", Jiang Kemei, presenting the "The Sound of Different Instruments" and "Peach Blossom Red", a rising star in the music industry, wishing the Chinese music into a new era.
