Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre texted the public for vaccine inoculation today (11 August)

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre (hereinafter referred to as “the Centre”) indicates that, in view of the severity of the global epidemic situation, Macao cannot afford to drop its guard, and vaccination against COVID-19 is an important means to combat the epidemic effectively. For this, to facilitate vaccination among members of the public, the 18 vaccination points across the territory now offer more than 10,000 inoculation quotas daily, with adequate quotas for on-site registration. Today (11 August), the Centre has sent the following text message to the entire population:

“Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre: Given the severe epidemic situation, to protect yourself and your family, please get vaccinated now to establish a community immunity barrier! People ≥ 12 years old that are not fully vaccinated may schedule an appointment via: https://eservice.ssm.gov.mo/covidvacbook.”

The Centre reiterates that, getting vaccinated can protect ourselves and others. Only when people from all walks of life have been vaccinated against COVID-19 can an immunity barrier be built up in the community, which will allow for maximum protection against the virus, so that Macao residents are safeguarded to return to normal lives as soon as possible.
