In response to the further development of the new coronavirus and by order of the Chief Executive 110/CE/2021, Public Administration and Civil Service workers will be exempted from work between the 5th and 7th October 2021.
During the said period, the Social Welfare Bureau (SWB) will suspend the services in the main office, the social service centers, and other subordinate units. However, the following urgent services will remain open: Detoxification and Maintenance Treatment Services in the Areia Preta Drug Treatment Centre (Methadone) and in the Carmo (Taipa) Drug Treatment Centre (Methadone) and the nucleic acid test for all the population in the Healthy Life Education Centre.
