Application for a certificate of the limit of stay granted in the Authorization to Stay / Residence Authorization


How to Apply

Time of Application

For persons who need to submit this certificate, which proves that they are granted valid Authorization to Stay/Residence Authorization by the relevant unit of the Residence and Stay Affairs Department, to a public department or private organization in Macao for appropriate purpose may apply, depending on their personal need, to the subdivision concerned for a certificate containing their dossier record during office hours.

Application Procedures and Documents Required

  1. Application Approach
    1. The application can be submitted by the interested person or a legal representative.
    2. The representative is required to submit the following:
      1. A certified letter of authorization;
      2. A copy of his / her valid identification document.
  2. Documents to be Presented
    1. Unless otherwise noted, the original should be exhibited for authentication if a copy is submitted.
    2. The copy should be authenticated if the original cannot be exhibited.
  3. Document to be Submitted
    1. Declaration / Application Form (DARP/DARP M-3);
      [Note:
      (1) The Declaration / Application Form template is available at the subdivision concerned and the website of the Public Security Police Force;
      (2) The application should contain: A. the personal information of the applicant, B. the fact to be certified, C. the purpose the certificate serves.]
    2. A copy of the valid identification document of the applicant.
  4. Forms: Declaration / Application Form (DARP/DARP M-3)

Charge

MOP15 for the first page, MOP5 per following page (including copies of the documents in the interested person’s dossier).


Processing Time (excluding time of waiting in a queue and postage time for documents sent by mail)

4pm of next working day
(It is timed from the moment the service unit receives and confirms that all the required documents are correctly prepared.)


Remarks / Points to Note

  1. According to Term 1, Article 66 of Law No. 16/2021, to apply for a visa, Authorization to Enter and Stay, Macao SAR Residence Authorization, Renewal or Extension of Residence Authorization means the interested person consents to have his or her personal information, which includes his or her biodata, treated by the Public Security Police Force.

Method of result collection:

  1. Collect in person;
  2. Collect by representative.
