MUR team members visit the “National Security Education Exhibition”.

Macau Urban Renewal Limited (MUR) Members of the Board of Directors and staff members today (May 2) visited the “National Security Education Exhibition”, co-organised by the Macau SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR.

2023 marks the start of the full implementation of the aspirations outlined in the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and is also the year that marks the 30th anniversary of the promulgation of the Basic Law of the Macau SAR. Through the “National Security Education Exhibition”, featuring an introduction and five sections, MUR team members gained a comprehensive understanding of the achievements and national security system that the country has made and learnt the importance of safeguarding national security.

MUR Chairperson of the Board of Directors Peter Lam Kam Seng said that the national security education exhibition was of great significance. It not only helps raise public awareness of national security, but also reinforces social cohesion to build confidence in safeguarding national security and social stability, and together safeguard national security, carry on the tradition and strengthen the power of “love the country, love Macau”.

With the full support of the country, preferential policies for Macau continued to be rolled out. In accordance with the company’s articles of association, MUR will continue to promote urban renewal and improve Macau residents’ quality of life, and at the same time, lead team members to actively participate in the country’s overall development together for the development of the Guangdong-Macau In-Depth Cooperation ZoneinHengqinand the promotion of the integration of Hengqin and Macau.
