"Talim" has intensified into a typhoon. "Talim" is located about 220 kilometers south- southwest of Macao and is expected to move west-northwest, towards the west coast of Guangdong. According to the current forecast track, "Talim" will be closest to Macao during daytime today, and will maintain a distance about 200 kilometers away from Macao. Force-8 Winds has been recorded over the bridges. As "Talim" gradually intensifies and approaches, the strongest wind is expected to occur at noon, and the wind direction will gradually change to east to southeast. The signal No. 8 NE will be replaced by the signal No. 8 SE thereafter. Furthermore, under the influence of the outer rain band of "Talim", the local weather will become unsettled, with occasional heavy rain and thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, flooding has occurred in the Inner Harbour area, and the height of flooding is expected to be about 0.4-0.8 meters. The public is advised to pay attention to the latest weather information.
