[Note: Departure of persons who have lost their document and overstay will be arranged by the Investigation and Repatriation Subdivision of the Border Control Department.]

Service Result

Residence and Stay Affairs Department issues “Declaration of Loss of Document” to Hong Kong Residents, “Loss of Document and Report Notification” to Mainland Residents and “Declaration of Loss of Document” to other Non-residents of Macao.

1. Stay Subdivision of the Residence and Stay Affairs Department (during office hours)
2. Investigation and Repatriation Subdivision of the Border Control Department (during non-office hours)
3. Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal Checkpoint, Taipa Ferry Terminal Checkpoint and Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Checkpoint of the Border Control Department (24 hours)
   [Note: It is only applicable to Hong Kong residents who lost their entry document, allowing them to report for loss of the document and go through departure clearance at the same time.]
4. Border Gate Checkpoint of the Border Control Department (06H00-01H00) [Note: It is only applicable to Mainland residents who lost their “PRC Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao” but have an urgent need to return to the Mainland, allowing them to report for loss of the document and go through departure clearance at the same time.】
