How to apply

Formalities and required documents

When applying for the letter of consent, the entity that occupies a government premises must submit the following documents to the Financial Services Bureau:

  1. An application letter that contains the reason for the construction works, the contact person information and the contact phone number;
  2. A memorandum describing the construction plan or a detailed construction plan;
  3. Construction floor plans which include approved, amendment and overlay plans.

Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 1:00pm, 2:30pm – 5:45pm
Friday: 9:00am – 1:00pm, 2:30pm – 5:30pm
Closed on weekends and public holidays

Free of charge


Time needed for approval

Thirty (30) working days (to be counted from the next working day) after receipt of all necessary documents. (Performance Pledge).


Remarks / Reminders on application

Following receipt of The Financial Services Bureau’s consent to the reparation works, it is also necessary to obtain approval from the relevant competent authorities before commencement of the said works.
