How to process

Required Document:
The applicants are required to bring the animal to the Macao Municipal Kennel and provide the following information:
1. Particulars of applicant (name, residential address, identity document Nº and contact telephone Nº);
2. Particulars of the animal(s) (type of animal, breed, gender, age, colour of hair, special features);
3. Destination address;
4. Means of transport to destination (mode of transportation, country/city passed through);
5. Requirements for animal imports stipulated by destination country (Important Note 2.);
6. Application form (015/DICV/DIS).

Documents to be presented:
1. For dogs or other animal species which require licensing, the applicants are required to present the valid license of the animal(s);
2. Vaccination records of the animal(s);
3. Photocopy of identity document(s) of applicants.

Location: Macao Municipal Kennel: Avenida do Almirante Lacerda, Macao

Office hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays)

Application fee: Mop 120.00

Form fee:
Not Applicable

Stamp Duty:
Mop 10.00 per certificate and an additional Mop 5.00 for each page.

Processing time: 1 working day

Remarks/ points to note for application

Important note:
1. The Health Certificate is valid for 10 days, dated from its issuing date;
2. Though different destination countries have their own stipulated requirements applied to imported live animals, yet the Health Certificate shall be issued in the standard form if the applicant does not specify the stipulated requirements applied to imported live animals by the destination country;
3. The application fee of the Health Certificate does not cover the fee(s) incurred for additional inspection(s) conducted to fulfil the stipulated requirements applied to different species of imported animals.
