Documents to be presented:
The applicants are required to bring their animal(s) to the Macao Municipal Kennel and present or/and provide the followings:
1. Photocopy of identity document(s) of the applicant;
2. Original or photocopy of identity document(s) of the holder of the dog license;
3. Valid and original copy of the dog license;
4. Valid Certificate of Vaccination against Rabies.
Locations for processing the procedure and office hours
Location: Macao Municipal Kennel: Avenida do Almirante Lacerda, Macao.
Office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays)

2. More than 15 days:
Dogs (each dog):
— 10 kg or less: Mop 60.00
— 11-20 kg: Mop 70.00
— 21 kg or above: Mop 80.00

Remarks/ points to note for application
Important note:
1.If the dog owners had not applied for a dog license or the dog has not been vaccinated against rabies, they are required to process the respective formalities and pay for the incurred fees;
2. At the Macao Municipal Kennel, the dog owners could process the necessary formalities to redeem their dog after the quarantine observation period is over or after the dog had been captured; if an owner does not claim the animal within 7 working days after the notification and announcement of the IAM are issued, the act is equivalent to abandoning the animal;
3. If the dog had attacked people, the applicant has to pay for the quarantine inspection of the dog besides its food and accommodation;
4.The charges for food and accommodation are calculated on a daily basis, dated from the day when the dog was captured until the day it is redeemed. Even though the duration between the capture and the redemption of the dog is less than a day, it is still considered as one day.
