About the Theme Zones

PASSING THROUGH – Françoise Petrovitch
Enter this fantastic forest, take your place in this theatre set and wander around among these colourful giants. It’s time to transform yourselves! Stretch out or sit down to trace, draw and reinvent a whole gallery of characters.

LATERNA MAGICA
With the light of a candle or an oil lamp, this instrument was once used to project painted images onto glass plates, captivating audiences with dreamy images never seen before. In the digital age, the ‘Laterna Magica’ workshop invites you to revisit the origins of cinema. How do you create a moving image with light? How do you tell a story in images?

RHYTHMS SHAPES COLOURS
Discovering Mondrian’s work and geometric abstraction.
By manipulating educational materials composed of lines and shapes to assemble, overlap, and combine, children will create large-scale, flexible compositions that are constantly renewed in space.

The workshops are divided into two groups per session: Group A: ‘Passing Through + Laterna Magica’, and Group B: ‘Passing Through + Rhythms Shapes Colours’

Group A: Passing Through + Laterna Magica
