Representatives of relevant Government departments brief reporters at the Hong Kong Port of the Hong Kong-Macao-Zhuhai Bridge regarding the procedures and arrangements of the “Mutual Use of QR Code between HKSAR and Macao SAR Clearance Service”. Starting from today, eligible residents of Hong Kong and Macao can use QR Code to complete the automated immigration clearance.

Starting from today, eligible residents of Hong Kong and Macao can use QR code from the mobile application, without the need to present ID document, to complete the automated immigration clearance. The new measure brings further convenience to residents from both SARs.
