The novel Life of Pi has captivated readers worldwide, and the film adaptation directed by Ang Lee won multiple Academy Awards. Despite its illustrious predecessors, the stage adaptation holds its own, having garnered numerous awards in the UK and the US since its premiere in 2019. The creative team employs highly imaginative techniques to transcend the boundaries of storytelling, bringing the fantastical maritime adventure to life on stage. Its breathtaking visual effects have been widely praised by audiences.

Gabriella Bird, the play’s resident director will delve into the creative ingenuity behind the production, sharing insights on how to transform written words into theatrical spectacles, discussing the boundless possibilities of theatre.

The deadline for registration is 16 April. Please register via the Activity Application in Macao One Account. In case of oversubscription, selection will be made by drawing lots.
