Service Introduction
Procedures of issuing advertising licence to individuals or legal persons (corporations) that intend to advertise a product claiming health benefits or a pharmaceutical product.
Pursuant to article 16 of Decree-Law no. 7/89/M dated 4th September, any person who intend to advertise a product with health claims must apply to the Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau for prior authorisation; in addition, pursuant to article 5 of Decree-Law no. 30/95/M dated 10th July, any person who intend to advertise a pharmaceutical product must apply to the Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau for prior authorisation. No person shall publish any advertisement of pharmaceutical product and product claiming health benefits in Macao before obtaining the prior authorisation from the Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau.
Service target: Individuals or legal persons (corporations).
Result of application: The Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau will issue an advertising licence to the individuals or legal persons (corporations) that have made such application and met the relevant approval requirements.
