Police chief to attend anti-terrorism meeting


Commissioner General of the Unitary Police Service, Mr José Proença Branco, leaves for Hong Kong tomorrow to attend the first annual tripartite meeting with his Guangdong and Hong Kong counterparts to discuss measures in the fight against terrorism. Officers from the three jurisdictions last met in December 2005 and discussed ways to enhance co-operation and the exchange of intelligence. At tomorrow's meeting, they are scheduled to discuss operations against suspected terrorists and port surveillance, in addition to other measures.
