Yangzhou Food Promotion at IFT Educational Restaurant


IFT Educational Restaurant is proud to present the traditional Yangzhou Food Promotion on 5-9 May. Two award-winning chefs, Chef Li Cai Lin and Chef Yang Sin Tai from Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, PRC are invited to be guest chefs during the week. Situated at lower reaches of the Yangtze River, you can find a rich supply of fresh seafood and vegetables in Yangzhou. Yangzhou cuisine is famous for the detailed work on the major material, the way the ingredients are cut, how successful the dish is cooked, and consequently, the taste. The two chefs will bring us a variety of elegant Yangzhou delights, including Duck and Turnip Soup, Pigeon with Dark Soy Sauce, Yangzhou Duck, Roasted Chicken with Chestnut, Yangzhou Pork Balls with Crab meat Paste, Scallops with Chinese Cabbage, Preserved Vegetables in Yangzhou Style and of course the famous Yangzhou Fried Rice. Buffet Lunch: 1230 – 1500 (MOP140/person, half price for aged under 12)

IFT Educational Restaurant (Tel.: 85983 076 / 077 / 123) IFT has always been dedicating to organise gourmet promotions of different ethnic cuisines for the public. At the same time, it arouses the interests of food services industry in Macao as to explore more ideas in cooking. Along with the Yangzhou Food Promotion, Chefs Lei and Yang will host a Culinary Workshop on 7 & 8 May at IFT, which local chefs and IFT students will have valuable opportunity to learn and experience the Yangzhou cuisine. It aims to inspire the participants to create more spectacular gourmets and to promote the tourism in Macao.
