Completion of general counting of ballots of Legislative Assembly Election 2009

The General Counting Committee of the Legislative Assembly Election announced the completion of the general counting of ballots today. A total of 149,006 voters cast their ballots. The number of valid ballots stood at 147,223, while the number of blank and invalid ballots were 711 and 1,072 respectively.
