Out of 7 surveyed samples of toilet paper, 5 recorded price increases from 10% to 20% in most retail outlets. Significant price increase, varying from 1.5% to 22%, was observed for 'Aus & New Golden Soft Tissue (10 pcs)' in over 10 surveyed outlets. 'Scott Bathroom Tissue 3 Ply (10 pcs)' also recorded a price upsurge of 20% in one retail spot in Taipa. No significant price increase was observed among tissue papers, though prices of 'Kleenex Brand Tissues (5 boxes)' had risen by 20% in most surveyed outlets.
