How to subscribe the MSAR Public Holidays iCal?

iCal is a standard calendar format. By subscribing to the public-holiday iCal calendar, public holidays can be easily marked in your e-calendar.

iOS Users

iOS users can subscribe to this calendar by following the steps below:

  1.  Tap “Settings” on the Home screen
  2.  Select “Calendar”
  3.  Select “Accounts”, then  “Add Account…”
  4. Select “Other”, then “Add Subscribed Calendar”
  5.  Enter https://www.gov.mo/en/public-holidays/ical/, then tap “Next”
  6.  Tap “Save” to finish.

After completing the above steps, Public Holidays and Special Grant for exempt from work for staff in Public Administration announced by the Macao SAR Government will be marked in the calendar on your mobile device.

(Note: Subscription steps may vary with different iOS versions. You may contact the manufacturers if you encounter any problems during subscription of iCal.)

Android Users

Android users can subscribe to the iCal using Google Calendar and then synchronise it to their mobile devices as follows:

  1.  Go to https://google.com/calendar through a browser, login to Google Calendar with the Google Account used for synchronising the mobile device.
  2.  Click the down arrow beside the “Other calendars” on the left hand side of the Google Calendar and select “Add by URL”.
  3.  Enter https://www.gov.mo/en/public-holidays/ical/
  4.  Click “Add Calendar” and the subscription will be completed on Google Calendar.
  5.  Open the calendar in the mobile device and tap “Sync” . (Note: Additional data charges may be incurred.)
  6.  Select “Public Holidays” in the “Calendars” in the “Settings” and tap “Done”.

After completing the above steps, Public Holidays and Special Grant for exempt from work for staff in Public Administration announced by the Macao SAR Government will be marked in the calendar on your mobile device.
