How to Apply

Time Limit for Application

To be applied within 48 hours before intending to leave the port of Macao.

Formalities and Required Documents

Applicants can declare to the Marine and Water Bureau by logging onto the “Departure Declaration for Macao-Registered Pleasure Boats” under the “Guangdong-Macao Individual Travel Scheme for Yachts” in the Application System for Entry and Exit of Foreign Pleasure Boats (no English translation).

Notes:

  • Before applying for entering the waters of Zhongshan (Guangdong Province) for the first time, it is required to submit the original copy of “Guidance on Individual Travel Scheme for Yachts between Guangdong Province and Macao (Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone-Macao)” or “Guidance on Individual Travel Scheme for Yachts between Guangdong Province and Macao (Zhongshan-Macao)” (no English translation), which has been read and signed by the operator and its photocopy should be retained on board for inspection. (the form can be downloaded from the website of Marine and Water Bureau)
  • When there is a change of pleasure boat owner or operator stated in the “Guidance on Individual Travel Scheme for Yachts between Guangdong Province and Macao” (Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone-Macao) or “Guidance on Individual Travel Scheme for Yachts between Guangdong Province and Macao (Zhongshan-Macao)” (no English translation) , it will be considered a first-time application.
  • Locations where the original copy of “Guidance on Individual Travel Scheme for Yachts between Guangdong Province and Macao (Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone-Macao)” or “Guidance on Individual Travel Scheme for Yachts between Guangdong Province and Macao (Zhongshan-Macao)” (no English translation) can be submitted:
    1. Marine and Water Bureau – Shipping and Seafarers Department
      Address: Calçada da Barra, Edifício da Direcção dos Serviços de Assuntos Marítimos e de Água, Macao

      Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.

Notes for Application

The vessel is allowed to leave the port of Macao immediately once the online declaration is completed and the original copy of the “Guidance on Individual Travel Scheme for Yachts between Guangdong Province and Macao (Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone-Macao)” or “Guidance on Individual Travel Scheme for Yachts between Guangdong Province and Macao (Zhongshan-Macao)” (no English translation) is submitted to the Marine and Water Bureau (submission of guidance is only applicable to the first-time arrival in the pilot waters).
