Prepare to embark on a musical journey through time!

Guimarães String Quartet travels back to the Classical era with Mozart’s masterpiece String Quartet The Hunt, passes through the Romantic period with Mendelssohn’s String Quartet No. 6 and lands on contemporary works by the famous Philip Glass and the Portuguese composer Luís de Freitas Branco.

Founded in 2016 in the stunning city of Guimarães, in Portugal, this young and vibrant Quartet has already appeared on the international stages, including many major cities in Europe.
