Government garners public opinion ahead of 2018 Policy Address

Members of the public are welcome to contribute opinions up to 25 October, regarding ideas for the 2018 Policy Address.

The Government has today launched a 15-day public consultation in order that it can supplement its own ideas for the Policy Address for the Fiscal Year 2018 via input from the community.

The consultation, running up to and including 25 October, aims to garner fresh, constructive and practical suggestions for next year’s policy blueprint, to ensure that matters of public concern are effectively addressed.

To encourage the public to participate in the consultation, the Government has organised production of promotional materials – including animated videos, and advertising on television channels, on radio, in newspapers and on social media.

Members of the public are welcome to contribute their opinions via the official website of the Chief Executive’s Office (www.gce.gov.mo). Alternatively, opinions can be also sent to the Policy Research Office, via any of the following methods: by telephone on +853 2884 4265; by fax on +853 2882 3415; by email at policyaddress@gep.gov.mo; by post to P.O. Box 1017; or in person (by prior appointment only) to representatives of the Policy Research Office at Rua do Desporto, No.185-195, Taipa, Macao.
