“Lai Chi Vun Rebirth—Artworks Exhibition of Lai Chi Vun Shipyards Area” opens at Anim’Arte Nam Van on Friday

Co-organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, the Macau Artist Society and the Macau Lifestyle Association, “Lai Chi Vun Rebirth—Artworks Exhibition of Lai Chi Vun Shipyards Area” will be inaugurated on Friday, 1 December, at 6:30pm, at the Lakeside Gallery - Room S1 in the Anim’Arte NamVan.

The exhibition creative team expressed that the shipbuilding industry was an important cornerstone in the development of a new era of Macao. Through the display of a series of artworks, they wish to demonstrate the history of Lai Chi Vun Shipyards, expressing their gratitude to former shipbuilders and reminding the public of the city’s past time. This exhibition features a total of 22 artworks dedicated to the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards area, including eight photographs, eight paintings, two sets of wood ship furniture and four wooden ship models.

The exhibition “Lai Chi Vun Rebirth—Artworks Exhibition of Lai Chi Vun Shipyards Area” is open until 31 December. Admission is free. The exhibition is open daily from 11am to 10pm at Lakeside Gallery - Room S1 in Anim’Arte NAM VAN, located at Nam Van Lakeside Plaza at Avenida Panorâmica do Lago Nam Van. The exhibition is open to the general public and artworks are available for sale.
