The Consumer Council will offer hotline service for consumers’ complaint and enquiry during the upcoming public holidays. The available service and hours are:

Aside from the hotline 8988 9315, consumers may lodge their complaints online on the Council’s website (www.consumer.gov.mo) or use the “Online complain” function on the Council’s WeChat account. The Council will proceed with the complaints received once resuming normal office hours.
Consumers are reminded to inquire more about the details of the product and service before making purchase, and to keep the contact, receipt, or other invoice for future use. If anyone finds his or her rights being infringed, complaints can be lodged at the Consumer Council or other enforcing departments.
Businesses are also reminded to serve consumers with honesty and integrity. Any changes in price at food and beverage outlets must be reported to the enforcing department, and listed at the premises to let consumers know to avoid any consumer disputes.
