Dutch children’s theatre at CCM Hopping rabbits celebrating Easter

The Macao Cultural Centre, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, presents Guess How Much I love You, a puppet musical that will entertain kids and their families in three shows to be staged at the Small Auditorium.

Guess How Much I Love You is a musical adventure taking the young audience through Sam McBratney and Anita Jeram’s popular illustrated book. The play invites three year olds and above to go on a journey through the seasons with two cute rabbits. An endearing story of a father and a son who try to measure the love they feel for each other. The drawings are brought to life by Theatre Terra, a long-time group of friends who have already delighted kids and grownups at CCM with children’s favourites like Spot and Little Donkey. Founded in 1977, the Dutch company has been creating family musicals, puppetry and theahtre shows for almost 40 years. The group has grown to become one of the leaders in Holland’s theatrical production for children and families, attracting more than 50,000 people to watch their performances every year. This time, the troupe will be brighteningup Easter with a display of life-size puppets skilfully handled to the sound of cinematic classic tunes on a captivating, colourful setting.

In a parallel activity, CCM invites kids and parents to join a workshop where Theatre Terra’s performers will use simple, colourful games to reveal how their company brings to life so many fantastic characters.

Guess How Much I Love You will be staged from March 30 to April 1, 2018. Tickets will be available from January 28 at CCM’s box office and Macao Ticketing Network outlets at various prices and discounts.
