Goal Interpretation and aesthetics appreciation of the new media art and its respective meaning. The contemporary development of new media art, its interpretation, understanding and effects in society.
Message 1. Foster the theoretical and practical discourse in articulation with the different areas of contemporary digital art production. 2. Stimulate the critical and analytical reflection of the digital aesthetics and digital culture. 3. To know how to contextualize from a historical and theoretical point of view the digital culture and the aesthetics of interactivity. 4. To recognize the typologies of the aesthetics of the new media art, in particular as regards to their production and reception devices. 5. To recognize the different typologies of digital production: - from the internet to net-art; - from text to hypertext; - from video art to interactive cinema; - from the aesthetics of the real to the aesthetics of the virtual.
