When rice dough sculptures come to life…

In the 1980s, there used to be an old man making and selling dough sculptures on a side street near Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro. He kneaded, stuck and skillfully shaped the coloured dough into characters and animals. Children loved these sculptures so much.

Inspired by this craftsman, the creator of this performance will make a three-metre-high bamboo puppet depicting him. Several artists will act as dough sculptures and interact with the audience.
