Jazz trumpeter and composer Li Xiaochuan is a highly popular jazz musician, attracting a huge number of jazz aficionados with his exceptional talent, impeccable technique and boundless creativity. He was voted winner of the Best Instrumentalist award and his album The New Age was awarded the Best Studio Album award in the 1^st JZ Awards. Hisother album Initial was recognised as the Best Jazz Album in the 1^st CMIC Music Awards.

Li is known for his smooth and free-spirited jazz performances that integrate different musical elements and convey endless creativity and passion through technique and melody. In this concert, Li will join hands with severaljazz players from Mainland China to present a repertoire of widely acclaimed jazz pieces and take the audience on a journey to explore the various possibilities of music.
