German-Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott collaborated with international award-winning architect Hakan Demirel to create Echoes Of Life. Built around Chopin’s 24 preludes, this is a musical and visual journey expressed through a set of piano miniatures, framed by a digital video installation. Besides a specially commissioned work by Francesco Tristano and a new transcription of Mozart's Lacrimosa by Sara Ott herself, this exquisite performance is interspersed with contemporary pieces by other composers, from Tōru Takemitsu, iconic soundtrack creator, to the highly contemplative Estonian Arvo Pärt.

Echoes Of Life is a multi-sensory experience delving into a physical dimension and a visual narrative, breathing new life into an eclectic sequence of musical excerpts carefully and beautifully curated to convey its creator’s musical vision. Transcending notions of language and identity, this concert exposes personal fragilities and hopes in a succession of moments that, ultimately, resonate within each of us.

Duration: Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, no interval
