The audience are always delighted to watch the perfect fusion between ballet classics and fairy tales. On the other hand, the contemporary creators are often keen to explore further, looking out for novel interpretations. Introducing different dance pieces as examples, this talk will offer a reflection upon ballet classics on the contemporary stage.

Speaker: Dick Wong
A graduate of Journalism, Dick Wong left the publishing industry to pursue a career in contemporary dance and theatre. Named Artist of the Year (Dance) by the Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2018, Wong is also an avid practitioner in devising creative research projects and has collaborated with the City Contemporary Dance Company, Hong Kong Dance Alliance, Unlock Dancing Plaza and Zuni Icosahedron, among others.

The deadline for registration is 15 May. In case of oversubscription, selection will be made by drawing lots.
