Participants will be immersed in the captivating world of Javanese dance. Whether you are a dance enthusiast or just ethnographically curious, this workshop promises an unforgettable learning experience.

Instructor:Sitras Anjilin
Sitras Anjilin, a highly accomplished cultural figure and artist hailing from Magelang, masters various art forms, from shadow puppetry and ketoprak, to wayang wong direction and scriptwriting. Having trained under the esteemed Suprapto Suryodarmo, Sitras has showcased his talents through fascinating shadow puppetry shows performed in prestigious venues across England and Wales. Presently, he leads the renowned Tjipta Boedaja Arts Centre.

Remarks:

  1. Participants are required to wear comfortable clothing and to be barefoot or wearing socks;
  2. Participants are recommended to bring their own drinking water.
