All aboard, as this Broadway time machine is about to depart, taking us back to the 1930s New York! Annie is a perfect family-friendly musical telling the uplifting adventures of a brave little orphan. Staged to the sound of a most memorable score, featuring classic tunes like Tomorrow and It’s the Hard Knock Life, this is one of the world’s best-loved shows, with the original Broadway production winning seven Tony Awards, including, of course, Best Musical. Still holding a special place in the hearts of a vast audience since it premiered in the 1970s, Annie was even made into an Oscar nominated movie in the 1980s. This production has been on a cross-country tour in the US and is now traveling the world, bringing the story to life for a new era!

Determined to find her parents, fleeing from the evil clutches of Miss Hannigan, the orphanage’s spiteful mistress, little Annie escapes to the wondrous world of New York City. There, she finds a new family at Oliver Warbuck’s mansion—a lonely, eccentric billionaire that will change her life forever. Displaying impeccable vocal skills and energetic dance, the show colourfully depicts the tensions between children’s spontaneity and grownup cunningness. As our heroine tries to vigorously glue her life back, we will cheer the overcoming of adversity in an optimistic celebration of love and the power of family. Enthralling us with a cascade of emotions, this light-hearted bravery display is the cure for all the hard knocks life might throw our way!
