Legendary pianist Ivo Pogorelich has been an extremely attractive and infectious interpreter since the 1980s. Known for his unorthodox, highly personal interpretations, his sole interest is bringing technique to perfection through relentless and almost obsessive practice, day and night. Pogorelich presents a unique and extremely refined vision on the keyboard, and whatever complex voices there might be, they become clear and audible under his hands, as timbres are so astonishingly and meticulously crafted.

The recital will brim with his finest techniques, exuding emotions from the Romantic period. Starting with Chopin’s ethereal, delicate sensations, followed by Schumann’s sense of order and fantasy, and demonstrating his absolute mastery over Sibelius’ Valse Triste’s mood. Pogorelich will conclude with a piece that emanates Schubert’s expressive might. At his fingertips lies a glimpse into the lives of four composers who lived intensive, passionate lives. Let us indulge, and contemplate the moment.
