Over the years, the Festival has been providing a performance platform for emerging local musicians, fostering the city’s musical culture. In this edition, four blooming players are set to showcase their verve, performing a number of chamber works with professionals from the Macao Orchestra and the Macao Chinese Orchestra.
All four of them are special prize winners at the Macao Young Musicians Competition, including pianist Tong Hou Long (Cultural Affairs Bureau Prize winner), cellist Ho Nok Hin Issac (Grand Second Runner-up in the intermediate category), bassoonist Cheng Son Him (Grand First Runner-up in the advanced category), and guzheng player Kong Wai Ka Ashley (Grand Champion in the intermediate category). Each taking their turn on stage, they will unleash their youthful vigour and melodious brilliance!
