The “Tap Siac Craft Market” invites handicraft instructors to teach in the workshops
Organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), the “Tap Siac Craft Market” will be held from 16 to 18 November and from 23 to 25 November 2018, at Tap Siac Square. The call for proposals of “creative handicraft workshops” and “stage performances” is open from tomorrow (31 August) until 21 September, at 5:30pm.
Inaugurated in 2008, the Tap Siac Craft Market has become an important platform for local cultural and creative practitioners to showcase their products and present their performances. In conjunction with the Tap Siac Craft Market, IC is now calling for proposals of “creative handicraft workshops” and “stage performances”, aimed at encouraging local handicraft talents to join the Craft Market as handicraft workshop instructors and providing opportunities for local singer-songwriters and musicians to present public performances, thereby promoting the participation of public and showcasing their creativity and talents.
