Upon negotiation with the Consulate General of the Republic of Union of Myanmar in Hong Kong, the Identification Services Bureau has been notified by the Consulate General that holders of the Macao SAR Passport can enter the Republic of the Union of Myanmar without visa. This new measure is an enhancement of the visa-on-arrival privilege granted previously by the Republic of Union of Myanmar, and is put into use on a trial basis for one year starting from 1st October 2018.
