Macau Grand Prix Organizing Committee participates in Hong Kong Promotional Activities

The grand opening of the promotional campaign for the Suncity Group 65th Macau Grand Prix was held today (October 13) at Cityplaza in Hong Kong, drawing a large number of residents and visitors who enjoyed a taste of the high-octane excitement that has made the event one of Asia’s most popular sporting attractions.

The Macau Grand Prix Organizing Committee participates in the roadshow, which is staged by the Macao Government Tourism Office on 13 and 14 October, and the two-day event includes a number of fun activities as well as displays telling the fascinating history of the event. Visitors have the chance to get an up-close look at the Dallara Volkswagen Formula 3 car with which Portuguese star Antonio Felix da Costa rocketed to victory on Macau’s famous Guia street circuit in 2016, and a Lotus Evora sports car manufactured by British automotive company Lotus Car which competed in the 2017 Macau Touring Car Cup. In addition, Grand Prix tickets and other pirzes are on offer for visitors who take part in mobile interactive games.

The Suncity Group 65th Macau Grand Prix will be held from 15 to 18 November. The provisional race programme for this year includes a total of six thrilling races, including four headline races: the Suncity Group Formula 3 Macau Grand Prix - FIA F3 World Cup, the SJM Macau GT Cup - FIA GT World Cup, the Suncity Group Macau Guia Race - FIA WTCR and the Suncity Group Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix - 52nd Edition. On the support card are the FOOD4U Macau Touring Car Cup and the Suncity Group Greater Bay Area Lotus Cup.
