The Macao Cultural Centre, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, is looking for fresh voices to join its Singing Club in the coming year. Applications are now open to children aged 8 to 16 willing to discover the joys of singing and improve their musical culture.
CCM’s Singing Club is a revamped version of the Children’s Choir, which dates back to 2004. The group will keep on actively providing a relaxing learning environment, introducing boys and girls to the world of music, combining choral rehearsals and other performing art forms in the weekly practice. Besides, each year the kids are attending community oriented events and environmental projects. The Singing Club is frequently involved in celebrations and performances such as the Annual Concert, the Christmas and New Year Lighting Ceremony and the mini concert at ARTmusing Fun. The golden voices are taking part in exchange experiences and engaging activities in three main areas, from community visits and Nature discovery to old town adventures. All these creative moments play an important role in broadening the singers’ views, developing team building spirit and creating a special musical experience.
Application forms should be submitted by December 26 (7 pm) at the Macao Cultural Centre or any Macao Ticketing Network counter. Auditions are scheduled for December 29 and 30, 2018 and candidates will be individually notified. Monthly fees will cost MOP200 and must be settled each semester.
