Residents of Districts of Toi San, Fai Chi Kei and S. Lourenço can Handle Social Security Services within the District

To facilitate residents to handle various social security services, the Social Security Fund (abbreviated to FSS in Macao) has been providing community residents with services related to the social security contributions and the non-mandatory central provident fund system through the Public Services Centres under the Municipal Affairs Bureau (formerly the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau). Since January this year, the related services have been extended to Toi San Station and Fai Chi Kei Station of the Northern District Public Services Centre, and S. Lourenço Station of the Central District Public Services Centre. January happens to be a contribution month, and the FSS reminds residents in the district to go to the new service points to pay contributions.

The six social security services available at the Public Services Centres and Stations include:

The First Tier

(Social Security System)

The Second Tier

(Non-Mandatory Central Provident Fund System)

  • Payment of contributions of local long-term employees is only applicable to the following situations:
    - No staff change
    - Employers using the Electronic Filing Service
  • Payment of contributions of the arbitrary system
  • Payment of employment fee for non-resident workers
  • Filing objection statements about non-inclusion in the fund allocation list
  • Application for withdrawal of funds
  • Transfer of funds

The above social security services will continue to be provided by Municipal Affairs Bureau’s Central and Islands District Public Services Centres and Seac Pai Wan Station. In addition, if residents want to handle the social security services in person, they can also go to the FSS temporary office at Tap Seac, the FSS field office on the 13th floor of China Civil Plaza Building in NAPE (only provide contribution-related services), or Areia Preta Service Centre of the Macao SAR (Area of Social Security and Employment).
