Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), the “Tap Siac Craft Market” will be held from 26 to 28 April and from 3 to 5 May 2019 at Tap Siac Square. To encourage the public’s participation, IC is now calling for proposals of stall operators and handicraft workshops. Applicants from Macao, Malaysia and Singapore are welcome to submit proposals by Monday, 4 March, at 5:30pm. Inaugurated in 2008, the “Tap Siac Craft Market” has been a platform for cultural and creative practitioners to display and sell their products. It has become a famous local brand of cultural and creative market and has attracted local and overseas creative talents to participate. This edition of the “Tap Siac Craft Market” features approximate 220 stalls, showcasing a diverse range of creative products by cultural and creative practitioners from Macao and Asian regions. Concurrently, music performances and handicraft workshops will be held for the public to enjoy diversified activities.
Application is free and can be made on behalf of a group or individually. If the number of eligible applicants exceeds the original allocated quota, stall operation time will be assigned by drawing lots. Application forms are now available at the reception of the Cultural Affairs Bureau Building, located at the Tap Siac Square, Macao, or can be downloaded at IC’s website (www.icm.gov.mo) or the Macao Cultural and Creative Industries Website (www.macaucci.gov.mo). Applicants must submit all required documents together with the completed application form to the Department for Promoting Cultural and Creative Industries of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (Cultural Affairs Bureau Building, Tap Siac Square, Macao) during the specific period of time stated in the Application Form.
