The launching of “Our 20 Years” – a special event hosted by the photo submissions portal “Macao Photo Book” of GCS

In a bid to mark the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region, the Government Information Bureau today launched the call for photo submissions of “Our 20 Years” – a special event hosted by the photo submissions portal “Macao Photo Book” (https://photo.gcs.gov.mo).

“Our 20 Years” is now open to submissions of photos that embody the precious moments of Macao people over the past two decades; deadline for submissions is 30 June (24:00).

As stated by the above theme, submitted photos should be able to reflect the changes of Macao and the daily life of Macao people in the 20 years since the city’s Handover.

For each winning entry, its author will get MOP 800 for the photo’s right of use.

Anyone with valid Macao ID documents is eligible to submit entries electronically via the following website: https://photo.gcs.gov.mo/our20years; participants must sign up before uploading their entries.

The digital platform “Macao Photo Book” was launched in 2017 to collect photos related to Macao. This year-round platform has gained the support of many photography aficionados and attracted many outstanding entries.

In the past year, three rounds of photo selections were held with the support of 8 photography organisations and 5 media associations; a total of 104 outstanding photos were selected.
