National security education exhibition starts on 15 April

The National Security Education Exhibition – Macao’s second – will be held from 15 April. This year’s edition is supported by a new online registration system and a telephone hotline for enquiries.

From 15 April to 15 May, the Macao SAR Government is holding – in cooperation with the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region – a National Security Education Exhibition. This year’s edition – the second such event in Macao – will be in the exhibition hall on the second floor of the Handover Gifts Museum of Macao. It will enable all members of the community better to understand the importance of national security.

This year, the National Security Education Exhibition will focus on four main themes: “The road to national rejuvenation”, “Staying alert to the challenges ahead”, “Safety and development”, and “Our responsibilities”. The exhibits are mainly photographs and models of real objects, accompanied by approximately 20 video clips.

This year, an online registration system and an enquiry hotline have been set up, for convenient registration for group visits and advance bookings for guided tours. Interested parties are welcome to log in or submit their registrations via “Group Registration”, via the following website: https://eesn.gov.mo.

The contact persons of registering groups will then be reached by telephone for verification of their status, and coordination of their group’s visit. Interested parties may also call (+853) 8800 6262 during office hours in order to make enquiries.

The National Security Education Exhibition will be open to the public immediately after an opening ceremony for it on the morning of 15 April. The full version of the exhibition's dedicated website will be launched at the same time, and will highlight the content of the exhibition.

In April 2018, the Macao SAR Government cooperated with the Liaison Office to organise the first National Security Education Exhibition in Macao. The event achieved good results in terms of enhancing public awareness of national security.
