The University of Macau (UM) will hold the Open Day on Sunday 14 April from 11:00am to 5:00pm. All Macao residents, students and their parents, as well as visitors to Macao are welcome to attend the event. There will be various activities, including course consultation, lectures, recreational and sports activities, performances, fun experiments, workshops, game booths, and family-friendly games. Souvenirs will be given out to participants. Friends from the Greater Bay Area are also welcome to join us on the Open Day and learn more about UM’s latest developments, model of education, and campus life.

The opening ceremony will be held at 11:00am in the plaza outside the library. In addition to the activities mentioned in the above, there will also be a parade by international students, an International Food Festival, an augmented reality (AR) video game, sports competitions, booths for science popularisation, and various games with prizes. Visitors will have the chance to win an iPad upon collecting the required number of stamps from different locations on campus.

UM is separated from Taipa by a river. Those from the rest of the Greater Bay Area can enter Macao either by land (via the Gongbei Port, the Hengqin Port, or the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge) or by sea. To get to the campus, take a taxi, or bus route 71, 73, or 72. Those who plan to drive to the campus can park their vehicles in UM’s public car parks. The various restaurants on campus will be open to the public on the Open Day with various discounts.
